I’ve learned that PD is multi factorial. It can affect the digestive system, bowels and urinary systems, depression, anxiety, balance, gait, hallucinations and delusions. It seems once we’re starting to manage one ailment another one pops up.
That I still feel better without LevaDopa that made me so nauseous and I did not eat for 2 weeks, just drank. I only weighed 98 and lost about 5 pounds and have not been able to gain it back. I deal with the tremors but I also stopped trying to cook like I use too. My doctor says it does cure you. Helps for a while and then turns into something worse. So, at 86 with a leaky heart valve, a shoulder that needs replacing which not a good idea at my age and the anesthesia could make my Parkinson’s worse, kidney disease, so far dong good, and osteoarthritis pretty bad in hands, feet, neck and back, I am going to do whatever keeps me in less pain.
To jnwhitt, my deepest condolences. To TheresaBaker2, Hang in there. To Einanne, great suggestion.

This holiday weekend I didn't adhere to my medication schedule and the results were pardon the pun, SHAKY.
Lesson learned; stay on your daily regimen!! Happy New Year!!!
Same here, Erinanne! What would the world be without music?
Hugs 🤗
