Seeking Name Of Neurologist Versed In "The Movement Non Visible Symptoms" Especially GI .

I live in the 93012 area and have not as yet found a Doctor versed in this aspect of Parkinsons. They are not fluent in understanding the interactive issues with RX and the potential results which can happen when wrong. Note: Movement disorder specialized doctors, so far I have found, are not versed in GI complications.

Yes Abdominal issues are severe. Cannot eat without problem. Laxative every day. Oral meds don't get where they are supposed to be. Coupled with everything else is the complancy of doctors who don't care if u are in your 80s. Medical practice has greately changed the treatement of people. Have tried queies from Parkinsons Foundatiom, MJF Fondation plus a host of others. All I get back is please donate.

This is a website where you can look up specialists by zip code.

My husband's Neurologist is a specialist in movement disorders and VERY WELL versed with the various issues that affect a Parkinson's patient. Ask for a different Neurologist is yours is not a specialist in movement disorders or Parkinson's Disease. My husband's doctor was so helpful as each new symptom presented itself. Also the Northern California Parkinson's Association (PANC) has a ton of information on their website and it seems to cover just about every symptom - even for those people who do not have the tremors (like my husband). Perhaps they can help you. Don't give up, keep looking.

You need to research online etc. to find the best answers. The MJF has most of your answers. Googel etc. is your library.
