My husband takes 10mg of melatonin, plus he takes clonzapam 1mg.. he stops drinking at 4pm any sugary or caffinated drink. He also avoids any sweets such as ice cream, desserts, or sweets such as candy after 4:30, he will have protein snacks which help him.sleep.

Some nights I don't sleep at all some nights I sleep all the way through and some nights I have broken sleep. I take a pill during the day for anxiety and then I take have lorazepam to take at night and that helps me sleep a little better than not having it. But I've always had insomnia so one of my early symptoms of Parkinson's. Good luck I hope you can find something that works for you.
