What scenario works better for you:?
1.- Take Sinemet always at the same time during the day (evenly spaced) as many times as prescribed by your Doctor
2.- Take Sinemet only with an empty stomach (at least 90 min after meal or 60 min before) as many times as prescribed by your Doctor

Mostly it's best to be consistent about when you take your pills, but if taking them at a normal time means you are taking them with protein, I think it's better to be flexible. Just make sure to take all your pills each day.

I take my sinemet 3 times a day at evenly spaced times, 5 hours apart.I've heard both thoughts on this as well, and would also like to get other opinions.
