I do PD boxing 4 days a week for 1 1/2 hours a day. I am 85 years old and still no meds. I have PD for about 7 years and it is a slow process for me.Just exercise, exercise and you will feel better.
Staying active. When I’m out doing yard work, I don’t get sleepy. I get worn out, yes, but exercise is good for PWPD. Avoid sitting in comfy chairs - I tend to fall asleep if I get too comfy. Chew a strong, sugarless gum (I like Orbit). Keeps my mind alert and clear.
Fatigue is one of those symptoms that's hard to explain to those that care about me (family). It seems to have levels... sometimes I just feel tired. I make myself get off my tukus even if it's just to go outside and back in.
Other times its so bad I can't seem to even get out of bed. On those days I allow myself a couch day without beating myself up about it.
My Dr actually did a full blood analysis. The B 12 once a day has worked extremely well for me
I schedule myself to do things to keep busy even if I’m tired. I basically have something planned for everyday otherwise I’ll just stay on the couch. I bowl on a senior women’s league, go to Rock Steady Boxing twice a week at our local YMCA, garden a couple days, help my daughter at her bakery one day a week. Keeping busy is my cure for fatigue!
