I have not taken B1 but I had to stop taking vitamin B12 because the dosage was so high like 4,000 per cent. My nutritionist noticed it and so I am not taking it for a month or so. But I did not notice any difference taking it.

The bottom line is that taking a multivitamin that has B1 in it is usually enough. There is little data that suggests that giving a person high doses of vitamin B1 will make their Parkinson’s better.
