Disability

As anyone apply for disability? I called Social Security and was told that I couldn't because of my age. I'm 72, yes, I get a pension. I still work part time but still pay into Social Security. Eventually, will need to stop.

I would contact a lawyer in your area and get the right information. You will more than likely need one to help uou apply for it! It was so frustrating and he dealt with that, so nice and worth the money.

Generally the amount you get from Social Security is greater than what you would get on Disability. I don't think you can get both, unless your disability is military. You can file for SS while still working if you are eligible.
