you take your first dose of levodopa. Do you have strong symptoms and are therefor eager for your first dose? Do you then get noticeable relief?

Jim says he doesn't have strong symptoms when he wakes up. He takes his last pills at 9 pm and the first ones as soon as he gets up, usually at 8:30 or 9:00. He occasionally has balance issues in the morning, but it's rare. He said the pills don't really seem to make much difference, though I've noticed that if he misses his pills later in the day, he has bad tremors.

I've always wondered about that. I take my last dose at 5 pm and my next dose at 7 am and have no change in symptoms during the night, just the day. I've been curious as to whether to wait dosing till I feel symptoms but I've heard that's not a good idea.
