Kenneth, I currently take 1 C-L tablet at 8AM, 1PM, 6PM and 2 tablets at 10 PM with no break through. the 2 tablets at bedtime plus 15 min on a recumbent bike before bed and a weighted blanket stopped restless legs so I sleep well through the night with the help of 5mg of Melatonin. Occasionally my neuro doc suggested increasing the C-L dose, I get dyskinesia. So, this dose has and continues to work for me for the last 4 yrs.
I do, when feeling anxious, have some tremor break through but that improves when I practice relaxation techniques.

Jim takes c/l four times a day and rarely has tremors anymore. The only time he shakes is when he forgets his pills.
I take time-release CDLD at (Phone number can only be seen by the question and answer creators),10:00:]] with regular sinemet as a booster when I feel wearing off, usually three times a day. I recently started taking a time-release in the middle of the night which makes early morning easier. I notice that my tremors are often affected by my need to eat, especially protein.
I do only have tremors from another neurological disorder and take no PD meds as I cannot tolerate them. I take Clonozepam and zonasimide for my rare disorder and they keep the PD tremors at bay. I have more non motor symptoms that I try to deal with by diet and exercise. Some I just tolerate as I don’t believe in a lot of medication if it doesn’t help or keeps needing to be increased with negative side effects. I have mobility issues and use a rollater or wheelchair.

Carbidopa Levodopa first at every 5 hours but still had issues, neurologist said it only has 4 hour life span. I now take it every four hours with far better results.
