I carry a Parkinson card on me explains what meds I'm on and my Dr's names I've never had any problems while in the hospital the worst part for me is they mark me as fall risk and I can't get up when I want you have to have a nurse

I've found that the more information I am willing to share the more willing to work with me (and my PD / DBS) the hospital staff are. They ask questions and more importantly they listen.

Great idea Les, thanks for sharing how you keep your care team informed about your meds. I'm proud of you for being pro-active and your own advocate. I'm not sure you can do anything to change the hospital policy. I understand it is frustrating for you but as you know, that policy is in place for your safety.
