Tremors
A MyParkinsonsTeam Member asked a question 💭

I seen to be shaking more, especially at night when I lay down and especially in my legs. Is this _normal_ for PD or rmaybe I should ask what is normal for PD? I I've noticed it's better when I'm
distracted. I also know that each bl of expressses this disease differently.

Both emotional and physical stress causes my medications to be slightly less effective.
If I push myself too hard or become worried about something out of the ordinary, then I will start to have shorter cycles, symptoms returns, etc. I've learned to take an extra carbidopa levodopa 25/100 to boost the effectiveness and close up the cycle during these times. It works for me?
We're all the same, yet all different. The commonly is we have a neurodegenerative disease called Parkinson’s, we utilize the medications, have the same symptoms ( at some point in our progression), We're on the same path, just at different places along the trail, etc..
Some uncommon factors are ages, length of time with disease, our lifestyles, our body chemistry, and our current stage of progression. Basically, your gonna have to take charge of your own health and medications. What worked for me yesterday, may not work tomorrow, but it may work again the day after that, so it's a constant battle.

I have tremors in my right hand. The tremors seem to worsen when it is cold or when I get stress. Seems to be a lot more lately. Also about 30-40 minutes before my next dose of C/L

Dear Merrilee I have found after taking Carbilev that I really have no significant problems other that I have found I tend to walk more slowly.

As far as Parkinson's is concerned there is no normal. Everybody's different.
