Does anyone receive a discount on their car insurance for no longer driving? I just found out my insurance has actually gone up in price and I feel it should go down since I'm no longer driving.
I'm sorry if anyone's offended by our conversations. Indeed this is a place we can share info and support about PD. It's also a place we can open up to friends who are experiencing the same life difficulties as us. Sometimes we just need somebody to talk to.

Try Auto owners, we get a good discount two drivers full coverage on a 2009 Camry. Don't drive very much and we both have perfect driving records. 700 a year
It's so expensive and my car is 2009. Thinking of giving it up as I was told it won't pass inspection this coming year. I don't really have the $ to buy even a decent used car.
I hate to give up my independence before I have to. I live in a small village which offers many conveniences, but still unable to walk to all of them. Friends have offered but I don't want to take advantage of my friends.
Any ideas?
Another friend suggested getting a scooter to get around town and I loved the idea. It would be fun.
I think our, auro insurance company uses a minimum of 12,000 mimes a year for the insurance costs on each vehicle.
My wife and I own four suv's and one truck. Using their formula, we pay for driving a minimum of 48,000 a year. We drive less than 20,000 miles a year spread across all our vehicles.
We're in our 70's and have full coverage on all our vehicles and I think we pay around $ 500 a year on each vehicle.
I had a dear run into the front right side of my 2023 Acadia back in October. It costs just over $ 2600 to repair and they didn't raise the premiums.
It could have something to do with it being the only claim we turned in for about a decade, we have multiple policies and the fact that we've been with the same agent for about forty years.
I hope nobody's offended. We all need a safe place to share.
