Heating pad and rolling a rolling pin over the cramp helps to relieve pain when I rest. I have not found anything that helps when I am walking.

My neck & shoulders get stiff and painful first..especially if
temp. is too cold or, i get chilled. I found a cape-like shaped heating pad that covers just those parts. its been a lifesaver!
