Phil, more like a few hours a Day. It'll surely help. Use darkness, ice packs to cool the skull, a noise machine or low quiet favorite music to help fall asleep.
June: I’ve had PD for 8 years. I have dealt with many of the typical symptoms. But, the fatigue/exhaustion is my greatest problem and it can be overwhelming. I have travelled extensively to see the most famous neurologist/movement disorder specialists in the world. I have a very positive outlook on life and I take this on as a challenge. I met a group of PD patients in Europe that had somewhat solved the fatigue problem. They take an herbal pill that works. I know this sounds strange, especially if you are used to taking all the meds in western medicine, but I thought I would try it. And, actually, why wouldn’t I try anything to solve this problem. I brought several bottles of these pills back to my home in Denver and took them to my primary care physician before I ingested them. My PCP did not see any conflict with my current meds. It worked for me. My fatigue is about 90% gone. I found that these pills are available on Amazon. I will spell out the name for you to search “ shi quan da bu tang”. I get the 750 mg tabs and I take two tabs twice per day. Obviously, it is a Chinese herb. I hope it works as well for you as it has for me. If it does, pass it on to others who deal with this overwhelming fatigue. Take care…….
My wife says she could give you a few hours a week if that helps ?
I sleep when I can’t get up and go.
