My husband has a bed assist device on the side of the bed that he has to use to get out of bed. It also acts like a short rail that keeps him from rolling off bed. (Though I doubt he would roll off since he has trouble even turning in the bed.)

Dear Maria, I don't fall out of bed. I typically I fall while standing up (or at least trying to). Now that I am not taking the other horrible drug, I have fallen only once after turning my ankle. It is not broken so that one doesn't count. At that point, I was thinking that maybe our great Parkie friend might be right about ⛑️ helmets. Be very careful anytime you move. A Movement Disorder Specialist seems like a good choice for me. Blessings and Love to all of my friends and family. JudyTx 🌹
