I have had RLS for many years. RLS isn't just leg pain. It's like sitting down and having somebody poke you repeatedly with a cattle prod. My RLS was so bad that I literally wore a hole in the top of my mattress. My wife kicked me out of bed because I kept her awake all night. RLS is a pain but it isn't necessarily the only thing that can cause leg pain.
Deficiencies of vitamin b and vitamin d as well as certain minerals can also cause severe leg pain. Then there's also neuropathy that can cause leg pain and last of all the one we know the best, PD can cause terrible leg pain.
Talk to your movement disorder specialist about the pain in your legs. They not only treat Parkinson's patients but patients with essential tremors, RLS and other movement disorders.
I hope there is an easy fix to your leg pain. If you have PD you already have enough to deal with. Good luck.

I have restless leg syndrome, sciatica, Parkinson, and neuropathy, but I didn't know that I had RLS until my Movement Disorder Specialist ask if I could keep my legs still, looked down and they were moving. I had wondered why Lao kept barking at my feet at night. I have always called Parkinson, my "Suprise Disorder." If I try to plan something, Parkinson jumps up and yells "Suprise, no you're not."
