I went to my first neurologist appt and she diagnosed DIP, and pointed to my medication I take for bipolar2, Geodon as the culprit. This type of Parkinsonism has many of the same symptoms as Parkinson’s but they can sometimes be eliminated by discontinuing the offending medication, or it can expose underlying Parkinson’s after all.
