You are probably right. I think my dry skin is also associated with my shoulder surgery. The anesthesia did something to my body. After surgery I had to learn to walk, feed myself, brush my teeth...it was horrible. It took all my strength and I am still struggling. While I was in the hospital even the nurses noticed how dry my skin was, I was peeling everywhere, even my head. That was two years ago.

I don't believe PD in itself causes dry skin. I think the dry skin could come from the medication you are taking, along with any other medicine you are already on.

I feel that dry skin is a combination of PD and older age
