Botox for tremors caused by Parkinson's or ET?
I have jaw tremors that don't seem to be improving. I've been using CL for several years it helps a little. I've also been taking propranolol for my essential tremors.
I have recently discovered articles about Botox injections to control hand and jaw tremors. Has anyone else read about this, or had Botox injections for this?

The side effects scare me too, so does DBS. I have been using carvdopa/ levadopa, I have also had side effects from this.
It seems sometimes that with PD you can't win.

I know they use Botox for this how successful it is a donโt know. My doctor does the injections I will ask him next visit in October. The use it a lot for dystonia but I did hear he will do it for tremor as well.
My tremor is only when using my hands (no tremor when hands are resting). I have tried 3 drugs without much relief. The latest is topamax.
Do you have both Parkinson's and essential tremors?
