I don’t believe so, I was told a couple different things about dx. PD but the last thing I was told there is no real diagnostic test for pd! Idk 🤷‍♀️

Rules out vascular issues in the brain, and abnormal shrinkage, lesions etc. no help in detecting other causes of Parkinsonism including PD.

An MRI can not confirm Parkinson's, Tina. It can only confirm what you do not have.

An optomologist told my wife that I had PD around 25 years ago and about 10-11 years ago my primary doctor and neurologist confirmed that I do have PD through observation and physical tests.
