Is it normal to have good/bad days if i'm not on meds yet? Will this resolve at least a little once I get on the meds?

I'm not on any meds as of yet. I am having really good/bad days - not much in between (i'll be ok for a few hours, then have major symptoms all across the board for a few hours). Is this normal? Will this resolve at least a little once they get my meds started?

I’m not sure because they had me on meds immediately, but I do have up and down days! Be strong!
