I wake up every day with my eyes stuck together. I use a warm washcloth with a little baby shampoo on it. I first lightly rub my eye and it feels like sand. Then I do the washcloth thing then I put no preservative eye drops. I usually have to put eye drops in a few times a day. My retina specialist had me get a prescription for it. I was on it for 2 months. Used a fresh prescription each month. He had diagnosed me with conjunctivitis originally. Still having same problem for the last 6 months. Any that’s my experience with it.

My eyes are very dry! Parkinson patients don't blink as often as they should according to my doctor. I intentionally blink and use drops several times a day! Hope this helps!

I used to have this problem, my eyecare provider suggested Refresh night time eye gel. You put a little dot in the corner of your eye at bedtime. It works, but my eyes were blurry in the morning. A warm washcloth pressed gently against the eyes for a moment followed by gentle rubbing takes care of that. I recently started using the Soothe brand, with it there is little to no blurring. I’m also very careful to not eat salty food in the evening. Stay hydrated. Good luck.

Could be conjunctivitis there is. medication; prescription needed. And OTC meds, I have same problem.
