Maybe I'm just unlucky, but I seem to be getting unsolicited spam as comments on my story. How do I know it's spam, you may ask? Well, I can't be 100% certain, but three main "red flags";
1. New member with few or no previous post history.
2. Claim to have been "cured" of Parkinson's (and Herpes, in one case...weird).
3. In recent ones, embedded link to a website for a South African herbal clinic...but posters claim to be living in the USA.

I have been completely healed of Parkinson's disease, dog fleas, herpes, burpees, cream teas and low flying geese with Knobbly knees. BS
And don't forget Mr spammy face I do the jokes around here 😂😂
It's bad enough that regular life is full of this spamming crap, but here on a site where folks are ailing and suffering and need to talk in a safe place, it just burns me up.
Hi Teresa I'm doing ok can't help feeling a bit of a burden to my family and friends. It happens! 😎
@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member I just got one of those posts through dead in bed and reported it as spam. I wonder too is no one on the Community Manager Team monitoring these posts? Does it matter if I report it or is that just there to make me feel better as if I am doing something.? I report text s that are obviously spam or phishing and yet get the same one repeatedly telling me I went through an ez pass toll in Ca and if I don’t pay up my car insurance will be suspended for a month. I don’t drive so I must have been going awfully fast in my wheelchair! Haven’t been in Ca in 25 years! I get incensed at how many people are getting ripped off out of fear.Perhaps AI needs some work! Sorry for the long post but I am tired of how nothing seems safe anymore.
