My husband used to festinate often, but between the medications and paying more attention to his posture when he is walking, that has stopped. He still tends to drag his feet but the LSVT-Big program did help him become more aware of lifting his feet and taking bigger steps.

Yeah, I've never seen a percentage amount listed anywhere. Perhaps a better question might be: "What is the most common PD symptom?" I have always thought it was the uncontrolled shaking, usually the hand. I've had PD for 14 years but have not experienced that. That's not to say it won't happen at some point. My major symptoms are and always have been gait and balance. I freeze often and fall a lot.
