I recently read an article regarding antidepressants and their impact on depression especially with someone who has Parkinson's. So I'm kind of not the one to ask. With Nancy, my best friend. Well I'm the crazy one I'm the one that will make you laugh I'm the one that will pull you up. But for me the aftermath has a price. He's very unsettling as a caregiver of two people that I love to watch them declined so rapidly it's all of a sudden. I wonder how many times your heart can break. I guess as many times as good Lord besides. But I stand firm.

Managing anxiety with Parkinson's disease often requires a comprehensive treatment approach. While medications can help, it's important to work closely with your healthcare team to find the right combination since anxiety symptoms can be complex in Parkinson's disease.

Common anxiety symptoms to track and discuss with your doctor include:
• Nervousness or agitation
• Feeling a sense of upcoming doom
• Heart palpitations
• Rapid breathing
• Sweating
• Sleep difficulties
• Gastrointestinal issues
• Trouble focusing Beyond medication, research shows that cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) can be particularly effective for managing anxiety in Parkinson's disease. Consider discussing these additional approaches with your healthcare provider:

• Cognitive behavioral therapy
• Biofeedback techniques
• Lifestyle adjustments
• Stress management strategies

Since you're still experiencing anxiety despite current medications, it's important to schedule an appointment with your healthcare provider to review your treatment plan. They may need to adjust your medication dosage or consider alternative treatments.
