He’s had dry eyes for years. The new problem involved double vision and poor vision. Convergence lens was tried although didn’t improve his vision very much. He saw a Neuro-ophthalmologist, who was very little help. Bottom line finally after about 10 months of going to two other ophthalmologists was diagnosed with glaucoma, with complete optic nerve damage to the right eye. I do believe that vision is very much effected by PD. My husband shares like many of you dry eyes and blurring vision. Uses drops, vitamins daily. Unfortunately I don't think that there is a part of your bodies that is not affected by PD.
I suffer with vision problems as well and use castor oil drops in my eyes. It does help
My husband was recently diagnosed with macular degeneration. No treatment for the type he has other than to take eye vitamins to slow the progression
He has the dry type for which there is no treatment. There are injections for the wet type.
Mac Degeneration here too & i take those vitamins too. first i had very dry eyes since 1998 so painful i couldnt open my eyes. used to use that eye grease b4 going to bed. then had tear duct plugs and that cured my dry eyes! sure hope my eyes get better & yours too! i dont know if its wet or dry type. do u know yours? i dont know much except vitamins for it too.
