The post from the Parkinson's team pretty much says it all. I try to respect the C/L drugs because the off times are nasty. Having a consistent schedule keeps the off times down to a minimum. Maintaining a daily schedule is as important as the drug itself. You might just want to schedule your activity between doses, rather than taking a dose to keep your symptoms under control for a specific task. Maintaining the schedule allows your body more time to be "normal" and you will be able to tell when it is time for your next dose because coming down from the C/L makes you feel yucky (at least it does me). Hope this is useful.

Thank you Michael848. Your answer was thorough and very understandable. I stopped taking MP last September because I became sick three different times from it. Also, it seemed to calm the tremors, not alleviate them. I will talk to my neurologist at our next visit though I expect his answer may be the same. Thank you again!

@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member, I think it depends on whether your C/L is time released or not.

I do. I often add 1/2 pill if I have activities during off times.
