I have this too! I can’t stand going shopping . I buy it all online. The did some research and I read that shopping is sensory overload for us Parkies. The bright lights, the loud music, all the merchandise, people…it’s too much to process. If you need to go to the store, make a plan. Know exactly what you need to get, make a beeline there and get the heck out of the store.

I experience the same thing. I no longer drive. My grandson takes me to the store after about 20/30 minutes I am finished. When I get home I don’t have the energy to do much more.

@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member, It’s all a matter of priorities, is it not. Parkinson's Disease is the priority for both you and your mom right now. Sometimes it's good to be distracted. Even when I can't do much, I read my Bible and listen to my favorite music on Spotify. I also like to watch Bible believing preaching.
