Welcome to life with Parkinson, that's the beauty of this disease everyone's symptoms are different and the same at the time . I've have had Parkinson disease since I turned 63 years old and the only way to livewith this disease is too stand up and fight it . The people who know me on this site , you have to be Rocky in the first one , you have to fight and when you get knocked down don't try and jump up just reach for that first rung and pull yourself to the second rung and so on and look in your corner and see who's your water boy , hopefully it our Lord and Savior , yes JESUS CHRIST , lord I know I've had several set backs , stay strong and blessed l.

Not usually. Have you talked to your doctor about them? If your neck is very stiff, that could cause headaches, but other than that, PD isn't likely to be the cause.

First off, welcome to the journey — though it's completely understandable if "welcome" feels like a strange word right now. Being recently diagnosed brings a lot of questions, and that's okay.

Headaches are not a recognized primary symptom of Parkinson's disease. The well-known non-motor symptoms of PD tend to include things like:

- Memory problems
- Trouble making decisions
- Sleep difficulties
- Hallucinations or delusions
- Mood changes like anxiety or depression

If you're experiencing recurring, severe headaches, it's really important to bring this up with your neurologist or doctor. It could be unrelated to PD, or it could be connected to medications or other factors worth investigating.

Don't hesitate to speak up about any symptom that feels unusual or disruptive — even if you're unsure whether it's related to PD. Your healthcare team needs the full picture to help you best.

I haven't found that to be the case! Dehydration often gives us headaches. Could you take in more water??
