I've lost 21 pounds , only if you don't count the 154 pounds that I lost when my wife left me again . Just kidding I think we all have the same problem and issues that food even it's something we love , we just can't stomach alot of food , I think it has to do with the medication we take for the Parkinson disease . I don't know how much pills you take , but for me it's 480 pills for the Parkinson disease , 60 pills for my seizures , 60 pills for Essential Tumors and 60 pills 💊 for anxiety disorders all in a month time . Now I've been battling Parkinson disease for going on 6 years . I don't know if this really helps you , but just remember to keep fighting .,
I lost over 50lbs in 2 years, while waiting for a diagnosis. On 2/24, I was diagnosed with PD, after taking a DaTscan test. I’m now down to 160lbs and can’t seem to regain any weight that I lost. I was also a Type 2 diabetic since 2004 and now, I haven’t taken any insulin since 4/6. However, this PD is very debilitating at times. I’m on medication at 3 times daily, so we’ll see what happens.
I've also lost quite a bit of weight on this journey! My issues are slow movement with or without dyskinesia (which by itself is what lost most weight), chewing with tons of teeth issues, slow digestion and constipation which kills appetite ... I have my smell and taste but if you don't I can see how there's no appetite .... I clearly remember my Step Dad starting to lose weight, his smell and taste were gone ... they prescribed a "mood" pill that's side benefit was an increase in appetite which I remembered helped him quite a bit ... maybe just maybe doctors may be able to get you a prescription to help, if you're too worried and/or open to take another pill!!! Hope you get help or ideas to help!!!
