On bad day is Anger with confusion and on good days he is Cheerful and alert. Uses a rolling walker and at times just a cane . Please give me your opinion and experience with this area. I want to let him enjoy his life while he can.
Thanks,
Jackie
What a loving and thoughtful question — it's clear how much you care about making life meaningful for your loved one. Taking someone with Parkinson's and moderate dementia on a cruise is absolutely possible, but it does take careful planning to make it safe and enjoyable for both of you.

I agree find a shorter trip because there's no turning around I'm no expert on cruises but I have a friend who is a booking agent and she might help I'll call her. OK yes they have 5 to 7 day cruises on a smaller ship so think things over if you go smaller stay away from a boat called the minow
Thanks for you reply and the cruise will be January or February "IF "we go to the Panama Canal and it's 12 days long . Still up in the air about it...we have been on multiple cruises before .So he has been on a cruise before but before his dx.of Dementia and Parkinson.
Hi Jacquelinet
I really don't know what to say since I have never been on a cruise before. So really can't give you any proper advice on that one. Perhaps others who have been on a cruise with someone with P.D. can help you. Maybe his Neurologist can help you with this. Anyways if you do go on this trip. Be safe and have a great time. Take care oh ya take lots of photos. Praying you have a safe trip. God Bless Colleen🙏❤️🛳😊🤗
