Becky--you sound just like me! I wish you lived down the street! I can't even go sit on the porch or take the yard because he needs me inside. He has a back issue that makes sitting very hard for him--so that adds to the misery. Ron is stubborn too! I worry all the time about falling and another trip to ER.

Ron would curl up and die in a nursing home and so I constantly try to figure out what we can do. There are specialized PD care homes in some states but costs are over $100,000 a year. Lately I'm afraid he is nitcsafexwithbme--when I can't move him and so on. I worry about the shower--he won't use a chair and so we just have one grab bar. I stay right with him but no in reality he could fall before I could blink. Ron's world has become so small and that is depressing. We used to be on the go all the time. We both get cabin fever.

Becky--do you all talk about the future and what will happen when you no longer can care for him at home? That's what I worry about.
