I did use cargo/Leva with the Comtan. Still experimenting with Rytary. Jury is still out.

Earl has been taking entacapone the generic form of comcan for a about a year, It really helped him. He was able to reduce the amount of carbodopa/levadopa and go longer between doses

Just stopped taking Comtan last week as I am trying Rytary. Most uncomfortable part of Comtan was the bloating of my stomach. Looks like I swallowed a beach ball. I was on it for 5 years. My body actually started bloating about 15 minutes before i was due to take! Still, despite the symptoms it does work well at getting the levodopa to the brain.

Just added Comcan to my c/l, my dyskinesia went wild. I was experiencing it 8 hrs straight. Thinking about living with the off times. Also sweats all day.

Never took comtan. Mirpex put 80lbs on me after I went off of it I lost down to 92 lbs because my PD got worse not because of the mirpex . Only the weight gain was reaction.
