Azilect

I take Fluoxetine --20 mg and 10 mg. alternate days. My neurologist thought that the dose was so small I could take Azilect too. My new primary care dr. thinks this is a bad idea and could lead to spiked blood pressure, which I have. I have talked to another PD patient who has been taking both for years and is doing well. What is your experience?

I have been taking Prozac with azilect for 2 yrs with no problems, my neurologist said its important to stay on antidepressants as most people with pd suffer from depression also.

I am on Carbilev and Donecept, which I take the Carbileve three times a day and Ddonecept once a day.

Thank you. I'm missing my neurologist In VA. It's difficult to find one in Colorado with expertise in movement disorders and my primary care dr. here just looks at the pharmacist's texts.
