Very few web sites - refer to my worst symptoms - being internal shakes - usually mid morning with sweats and sometimes nausea. Headaches that could be from my neck problem. Nearly everyday I have to take an ativan when I get this feeling otherwise it is hard to function. Since I have been on meds - sinemet - many years ago - my external tremors are much better as well as my slurring and falling. I am wondering if I should try to go of the med to see if the internal shakes etc go away. My… read more
Dear Wendy, i am so sorry that you feel this and I am assuming the docs are not helping. As far as internal shakes, is it like when you get freezing cold(Living up north in Chicago I do shiver and chatter with cold) or is it a tremor conceivable to you and nobody else??? Either way, very annoying and disconcerting, I am sure. I had an internal tremor and the doctor (Movement Disorder Specialist) would say she could not see it. Once she upped the Stalevo dose (carbidopa levadopa sinemet) it would help. then I got a DBS and now have the second DBS for the other side. The Stalevo nauseates me and so, I take an extra dose of Carbidopa which helps. I was having a ginger chewy (Great chews or hard candy called GinGIn from the Ginger People) to help with the nausea. I , too, get sweats out of the blue. almost feel like i am going to faint sometimes. it passes. i do think the head ache could possibly come from your neck. Know that I am sending you good thoughts and energy. Take the day hour by hour or minute by minute .
It is one of my pet peeves when people say "You look great. I would never know you have Parkinson's... ". It is hard to explain the inner shakes and other symptoms one has to someone without a clue. I empathize with you. Sending you good thoughts, Wendy and Ann. Paix
I too have the internal stuff and it is frustrating and sometimes scary. People think that I am having a good day because they can't see what is really going on. Sometimes I get really sad about it. You have my understanding and prayers. We are in this together and have to support each other.
find someone that is going to answer you.

Hi Wendy.... I occasionally have a feeling inside of me that feels like when your in a car, having one foot firmly planted on the brake pedal, and then using your other foot tostart pressing the accelerator pedal.... and you feel the engine building torque but your not going anywhere because your brakes...
For me this "feeling" never really last very long... but to an extent that I notice them... Sorry I couldn't be of more assistance.... Alan
