Members discussed the herbicide lawsuit ads they kept seeing on Facebook, with many connecting their Parkinson's diagnosis to environmental chemical exposure rather than family history. Several members shared personal experiences, including living near farm fields with regular herbicide spraying, childhood exposure to pesticide trucks, and home treatments with chemicals like Dursban, which is now banned. A recurring theme was the uncertainty around what causes Parkinson's, with one member noting that farmers and those in rural areas face higher risk, while another cautioned that class action lawsuits often benefit attorneys more than the people filing claims.

My home was treated with Durban for termites several years ago. Even though it was done on the exterior the smell was heavy inside for several days. Dursban is now banned. There’s no doubt in my mind that it caused my Parkinsons but there’s nothing I can do about it. It would be interesting to know how many PD patients were exposed to this chemical.

I can get hit with over 20 ads. It is a scam. Certain sites, like the quiz sites, are responsible for some.
