I generally wake about 3:00 o'clock am and rarely get back to sleep. I feel tired most of the time which is not much wonder given that I am averaging less than five hours sleep a night! Does anyone have any suggestions on how to deal with this?
My neuro suggested taking Benedryl before going to bed. said they found that it not only helps sleeping, but also had good effects on PD. It has really helped me get a nights sleep. only get up sometimes once and go right back to sleep. No more watching the clock for hours at a time YAY Hope it works for you. God BLess ELISA
I use a CPAP machine and sleep thru night with waking. There are several models, even one that works like when you are given Oregon in hospital
My husband (Don) has developed "Sundowners" it's where he get's his days and night mixed up. The Parkinson's Dr. Prescribed "QUETIAPINE FUMARATE 25 MB TAB. I am to cut them in half, (and they are very small and heck to cut into half) he has been on them now about a week and they seem to be helping. He hasn't gotten out of bed much at night any more. Hope this is helpful.
