I've learned the "hard way" many times in past....

What the "root cause" is that the software that runs this website has a hard limit of 3,000 characters per post..... if you look on the lower left side of the post box... you'll see in tiny letters that when it doesn't post is because you have exceeded the 3,000 character limit.

I also noticed that when a message post properly, you'll see a yellow band toward the top of the screen, saying your comments posted..... If you do not see this yellow band... remove some words until your under the 3,000 limit....

Also if you do not see that yellow band, DO NOT go on to next item of interest..... Because your "work of art" will now have been consumed by the black hole, and will need to be redone again.... Alan

On the frustration front I am with you Terry, sometimes I will spend 45 minutes doing a masterpiece of a response, several paragraphs, correcting misspelled words as I go. I am then just ready to send and I hit something I should not have and it is gone. Not sent, not retrievable just gone! So far so good tonight.

I do have Dragon Speak and I am at a point of almost jumping in to it. But I have been frustrated using it in the past, more than the frustration of screwing up the typing.
I will just keep on plugging along and I will get better at the software.

Thanks for letting me a rant.

Thank you for this information. I was planning to write my comments in a word processor and cut and paste, but I see that would not help me.
