This is not uncommon. Some PD sufferers put a satin sheet on their bed so they can turn over more eaily.

I still have a little difficulty with that but it is much better with medication. I do wake up very stiff and dry eyes and mouth, even though I only sleep about 4 hours!

It could be helpful to purchase silk type sheets and for the pillow too. Keep in mind NOT to wear silk type PJ's.........You'll slip off the bed. Good luck!

The doctor suggested either satin sheets or nightwear.But not both as you could slide out of bed!

I feel exactly the same. Especially since meds I began in Feb. made my symptoms of shuffling and moving slowly have improved dramatically. Now take "normal" steps smoothly. Still need walker for balance. But
don't understand the difficulty of moving my body while in bed. This prevents restful sleeping.
