Swallowing At Night

I am not on any drugs for Parkinson but have been taking various medications for years without any issues . Since my diagnoses I have been having problems at night swallowing it doesn't happen every night but it getting more frequent does this happen .?

My husband had problems with swallowing in the night. Sometimes I thought he was going to choke. His PD specialist gave him botox injections in his saliva glands. It has really helped.

My husband has the same problem. He to has therapy for swallowing and speech.

Swallowing difficulty is a symptom of PD. My husband had swallowing exercises with his speech therapist. He also takes med. for spastic esophagus.

Yes try raising the head of your bed. Perhaps he needs more meds.
