Has Anyone Met Someone Suffering From Juvenile Parkinson's?
A MyParkinsonsTeam Member asked a question 💭

I am really trying to find others who were diagnosed with young onset or juvenile Parkinson's so I can get a better understanding of what lays ahead for my son.

Young onset seems to be the term for anyone under ?60. Michael j fox got his in his 30s but I recently heard of someone aged 27! The problem is that everyone gets a unique set of symptoms, speed of onset varies from slow eg Iittle or no change across many years through to much quicker onset and progression throuh the stages. My advice would be read as much as you can about PD and ther people's stories, and stay positive - the "cure" could be with us in the not too distant future. Best wishes Linda
