Does anyone have severe dry mouth?
My husband has had this for a couple of months. The GP sent him for all the usual blood tests but they all came back normal so diabetes was ruled out.
He's started to have problems swallowing now as he is not producing any saliva, he was referred for a gastoscopy which he had last week but that didn't show any abnormalities..
He's getting really fed up with it now. He sees his consultant mid June so hopefully he will have an answer

I have found that my dry mouth issue is coinciding with a change in my voice. It's becoming sort of rough as if I had been screaming or have a cold. I'm pretty sure that it is the PD since I have been on the same meds and doses for at least a year.

I use ACT dry mouth lozenges and biotene tooth paste. I think it is from the meds we take.

i had dry mouth from medications for years, and my teeth rotted. i must have had 40 root canals ! i had root canals on top of root canals. it is serious. there are some over the counter mouth rinses now that helps this problem.....please look them up, or he might loose his teeth ! i also find that if i put pressure on my throat, it would help me swallow. hope this helps, but take dry mouth seriously, please ! lu
