I am currently trying Rock Steady Boxing that has just started this month. So far, it's great! I do feel much better. I'm not really into boxing, but I recognize the point of it. We also work on other things besides boxing such as balance, core strength, etc. using a variety of methods. The coach for RSB is a physical therapist that specializes in PD.

While not through Rock Steady I have been boxing for the last 12 months and my symptons have not worsened in fact I tested slightly better. If you don't have a Rock Steady in your area, I would recommend you join a local boxing club - you won't regret the decision.

I would love to try it. There was a display of it at a PD Seminar i went to last fall. The nearest facility is too far away from me. I would try anything. The main focus is to stay active.
