@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member men's Roagain, which is 5% where as most women's versions are 2%. 5% monoxidil was recently approved for use with women by the FDA, for over the counter use. when i switched from Nioxin (2%) to rogain (5%) the difference was tremendous.
i take Hair Skin And Nails, which is 5000 mcg biotin a day, but what has really helped he is men's 5% rogain foam. my dermatologist recommended it and it has made a big difference.
@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member. Make sure you're taking a good compatible source of iron. A very good natural source of iron is prunes. Biotin is good too. A Comprehensive Metabolic Profile to balance your neurotransmitters (brain chemicals) will tell you a lot about your overall health and hormone imbalances.
I, personally, use Organic Topical Castor Oil to massage into my scalp. Every time I wash my hair I massage my scalp very well and deeply with Castor oil. Then pour on mixture of 1 gallon water and 1 cup apple cider vinegar. Then massage scalp well and deeply. Rinse again in clean water. Last but not least, massage 1/4 oz coconut oil into scalp and towel dry the hair. (Reduce the coconut oil to 1/8 oz if too oily.)
The castor oil helps with scaling and itching of scalp. The Apple cider vinegar rinse and massage unclogs the hair follicles in the scalp. The coconut oil is to put back some of the moisture and shine that the massages took away. You should see a difference within two weeks of the texture and growth of your hair.
I do all this in the bathtub which is a lot easier than trying to stand up over the sink. Any questions about these procedures just post me. Sterling
