Before I was offered DuoDopa I was at the end of my rope. I had had enough. then I went to see my specialist and he told me about DuoDopa. I have already had DBS, twice, but it did not work for me. So after a lot of thought and a visit from a guy that already was on DD and he told me all about the procedure and how it all worked. I must say that I was very impressed. It is a only offered to Parkies who are in an advanced stage. I could explain all the facts on DD but it would be easier if you looked it up yourselves on the net, plus it would take forever to explain. But it has made my life a whole lot better and I can do more for myself. I live on my own and I am still managing quite well. I look after my little dog plus the gardens and my home. I do mosaics, sewing plus other activities. Always busy. But like DBS, Duo dopa may not be suitable for everyone, but at least ask your specialist about it. It sure is worth a try.

@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member. I am so glad that I am on DuoDopa. It has made my life liveable again as I was at a stage where my life with PD was getting very difficult. If you are offered the gift of DuoDopa grab it with both hands.

I have never heard of DuoDopa..I have had this horrrid disease or 15 years. It is getting to be unbearable so I need something better than Stale-vo. Where do you live, outside the US?
