Experimental Medicine Trials
Does anyone remember the name of the lady in her 80's who posted about an experimental medicine she is taking and getting outstanding results ? Also what is the name of that medicine ? It starts with a T.
there is a web cast today at 12 noon eastern time on the fox site
Hey, I found it. Tasigna. I still do not remember our lady friend's name, but here is the Michael Fox link for the latest position on this experimental use of Tasigna. https://www.michaeljfox.org/foundation/news-det...
@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member , Hey I found the medicine. it is called Tasigna (Nilotinib). Michael Fox Foundation website has a lot about. I still do not remember the good lady's name. Also for people starting to have poor response to their levodopa there is another antiviral that is being used: Amantadine (Symmetrel). All the best.
ok, so web cast tells us nothing new other than "too bad" you still have to wait - gee if it takes 10 years who knows. if something works just give relief
Never heard of it. Would be interesting to find out...
