Just wondering. I seem to be more stiff now than shake. I had tremors at first most of the time, now I'm more stiff most of the time. Especially the more tired I get. Thanks.

Members responded to a question about whether stiffness or tremors are more common, with many sharing that stiffness and rigidity are their primary challenges, sometimes replacing tremors over time. Several members described morning stiffness, painful muscle rigidity, and slow movement as their biggest struggles, while a few noted tremors at rest or during activity. Practical tips shared included cycling leg movements while lying down, mild yoga, light weightlifting, gabapentin for pain, and DBS surgery as one option that helped eliminate tremors.

My mother also suffers stiffness and extreme fatigue in her legs, but I find that the more se moves and excise her body the better she improves. Cycling movements are excellent. She does not need to get on a bicycle but lie on her back and make cycling movements with her legs. Mild Yoga postures also help.

After 9 years, very few tremors, but a lot of stiffness and rigidity, especially in the AM.

I lift some weight and stretch. Just seems like the more I do the stiffer I get when I rest. The higher the on time it feels like the off time is worse. If that makes sense.
