Has Anyone Used The Scopolamine Patch To Help With Excessive Phlegm?
A MyParkinsonsTeam Member asked a question 💭

My husband gets bouts of very thick phlegm - usually after drinking water/juice and swallowing too much. It might just be building up and the liquid brings it to the surface. It's not drooling but thick, globby gunk that comes out. It was suggested he try using the scopolamine patch (used for seasickness/motion sickness). Just curious if anyone has tried this and if it helps. Thanks

I take guaifenesin or musinex to thin my mucus. You can get a generic labeled chest congestion relief which is the same thing but much cheaper. I take two 400mg tablets when I need it.
