The National Parkinson's Foundation has a great free kit with bracelet, pad with tear off sheets giving med alerts - which are OK & which are contraindicated with PD meds, pad with sheets to list your meds, cards for wallet & purse, info about DBS, & info abou PD.
I have a medicaps pendant which I wear all the time I am home or out although this is only good for inside and out in the garden I only have to press it and it alerts 5 of the neighbors and my sons. I also have a Medic Alert bracelet which I wear all the time this has all medical conditions and allergies if any and notification if on blood thinners I don't go anywhere without I also have a card I carry in my purse with this information on it and a card to let them know I have a dog at home I feel it is a very good idea to have this information the bracelet also has on it my hospital UR number so they are able to get medical records straight away Maybe this is something we all need to give thought to it could possibly save your life
I buy the blank on line and have it engraved, then I bead a fancy bracelet using lobster hooks to attach it to the medical alert blank. Mine says Parkinson's /meds list in wallet.
I wear a medical alert bracelet -same as unice and carry a card in my wallet also.Felt it was important in event of an emergency as there are medications that can interact with parksinons medication
Go to National Parkinson Foundation site or http://www.awareincare.org/ and request one.
