Have You Been Exposed To Environmental Factors That Have Been Cited As Causes For Pd?
A MyParkinsonsTeam Member asked a question 💭

I have been researching environmental factors that have been cited to have caused pd. Well water, pesticides, herbicides, Agent Orange, and organophosphate chemicals (a war chemical used in the Desert Gulf). I was wondering how many on our site had been exposed to these environmental factors.

Well water? That's interesting. I grew up with well water but rarely drank it because I thought it tasted funky, lol (high iron content) We used a water softener. I'm definitely going to check this out some more! Hope you are doing well 🌻

@Michele76 I was exposed to chemicals used to develop pictures. The photography industry has a high incident of PD for photographers who develop their own photographs. robsct

@Michelle1976. Hi Michelle. I'm thinking that all of us are exposed to environmental poisons and toxins. There's just no getting away from it. It's in our wate, within our food... everything is contaminated with it. If We have a strong enough immune system to ward off potential diseases then we have a leg up on Health issues. Some of us have been exposed to stronger toxins and poisons and longer than most. Those are the ones who lose their resistance and do become extra vulnerable.

Take Care little girl. Sterling
